Bancroft District
Step back in time when you enter a century old store. Wander through six theme rooms full of 'Treats & Tresures' all chosen to bring back fond memories or simpler times. All this at the Old Hastings Gallery.
The Art Gallery of Bancroft is located in the beautifully restored "Old Station" in the Town of Bancroft. The Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m.
In addition to the art work on display at the gallery, there are one-of-a-kind fine craft and original paintings for purchase in the gallery's gift shop.

Durham Region
From the horse-drawn vehicles manufactured at the McLaughlin Carriage Company to Windfields Farm, Oshawa's historic link with horses is significant. The Robert McLaughlin Gallery exhibits vintage equestrian photographs survey a public life that was intricately intertwined with these beasts of burden. This exhibit runs through February 2005. Northumberland County
Visit the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope, Canada's only operating atmospheric theatre and the 1850s Victoria Hall Concert Hall in Cobourg.
While Victoria Hall is home to both musical and theatrical performances, it also contains the Art Gallery of Northumberland with two studios overlooking Lake Ontario. There are also a myriad of privately-owned galleries including the Gallery on the Apple Route in Brighton and the gallery of local artists' works at the historic former land registry office in the Village of Colborne. Eclectic Mix in Warkworth showcases and sells the works of regional artists who blow glass, sculpt and paint.

York Region
